Thorn Medicine - Rose, Ocotillo & Hawthorn with Judy Lieblein 11/15

In this class, we'll explore the medicine of three remarkable thorned allies:
hawthorn, ocotillo, and rose. Though they grow in different landscapes and have
distinct herbal actions, each teaches us about resilience, protection, and the
relationship between vulnerability and strength.

Throughout our time together, we'll examine these plants through both herbal
tradition and practical application. We'll discuss their energetics, medicinal uses,
preparation methods, and ecological relationships, while also considering the
deeper lessons they offer about healing. Thorn medicine is not simply about plants
with prickles; it's about understanding that protection is part of wholeness, and that
strength and tenderness often grow from the same stem.
